November 30th, 2011 NEF-Awani ICT Awards 2011: Deadline Extended (5th DECEMBER 2011)

DEADLINE EXTENDED : LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION IS ON 5th DECEMBER 2011.

Due to the overwhelming response, we are extending the nomination period of both award categories: ICT Awards & People’s Choice Award. The nomination period for the ICT Awards and People’s Choice Awards will officially end on 30^th November 2011 5^th December 2011 (Monday).

Officially launched on 31^st October 2011, the objectives of this awards are to provide recognition and further enhance the company’s value as well as products/services branding. The NEF-Awani ICT Awards 2011 is divided into two parts. The ICT Awards and the People’s Choice Awards.

ICT Awards 

The ICT Awards has seven categories and opened for nomination. There are:

1. Best Software
2. Best Animation/Games
3. Best New Media Application/Content
4. Most Innovative Company
5. Best Start-up Company
6. Best Mobile Content/Application
7. Best Young Technopreneur

Finalist & Winner Benefits

What set the finalists of each category apart from other ICT Awards is the fact that finalists get the exposure that their company needed to place their company on the map.

The benefits that each finalist will be getting through their participation in the NEF-Awani ICT Awards are:

• RM 300,000 worth of media exposure via official media partners (print, broadcast, and online).
• Recognition from the ICT industry leaders and associations.
• Media training sessions by industry-leading figures worth RM60,000 in total sponsored by NEF.
• Rights to use Awards logo. (Winners only)
• Platform to benchmark their products and services.

For People’s Choice Awards, eight categories are opened for nomination:

2. Favourite Online Banking
3. Favourite E-Services
4. Favourite Entertainment Portal/Blog
5. Favourite E-Community
6. Favourite Telecommunication Company
7. Favourite Social Networking Platform
8. Favourite ICT Device Brand

The conditions of Nominations (People’s Choice) are:

1. Nomination is opened to companies and online services related to these categories.
2. Nomination must be from an individual (public).
3. Each person can nominate only once.
4. To nominate your products and services, please click http://bit.ly/ooKQni.

The finalists of each category will be determined by the highest nomination from the general public. The top five products/services that received the most nomination from members of the general public will be selected for finalist.

The finalists will then compete for highest votes by public to win the award for each category. The voting process will be opened from the 19th December 2011 to the 25th January 2012 at our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/NEFAwaniICTAwards).
